The movie Coraline is a typical Tim Burton movie: Very interesting, and very long. The fact that it is in 3-D makes it even more abnormal, but fun at the same time.
At the beginning of the movie, it seems just like any other kid movie, sweet and fun, which leaves us to think of what happens next. At first it was an attention grabber, but as the lengthy movie went on, it was a little hard to keep the attention of kids and everyone seemed to get a little restless.
The movie was a little frightening at some parts which as I heard some of the younger kids gasping for air.. Once and a while you would hear a little random scream, Other Then the movie being long and a little scary it was really good and very interesting.
Dakota Fanning is the voice of Coraline Jones, who tries to find new things to do in her new home town to preoccupy her time. Because of her boredom she discovers a completely different version of her life and finds to like it more then the one she has now. Through a bunch a visits to this other life of hers, she discovers it not what she really expected.
