Editor in Chief Juliene Sesar
I am a senior at Vacaville High School and have been participating in school newspaper programs since seventh grade. For the past four been an active member of The Bark. I am really excited to make the paper better this year and can't wait to see how everything goes. I am planning to start many more events and hopefully lead the paper into a new ideal to help inspire the next generation. I play volleyball and help coach a 15s team in my spare time. I work at Brenden Theatres and have an overall active life. Newspaper is the most important thing for me because it lets my ideas be heard by the school and Vacaville and maybe one day more.
Assistant Editor Danielle Lara
Is my favorite person in the world....she makes me happy and not yell at some people. Danielle loves long walks on the beach with asians....she thinks its hilarious that Julie likes to call Mr. Dally a baby. She is the anchor to the team and really the only one willing to suffer through learning quark. So yeah, she's hot.

Executive Editor Nicole Hoffman
Hi, I'm Nicole Hoffman, editor of The Bark. I'm a junior here at Vaca High and have been editor-in-chief for the past two years and I absolutely love it. I always give The Bark all I have and I take a lot of pride in what I do. Journalism isn't my only love though. I love to shop. If I'm not working on The Bark or hanging out with my friends, I'm probably either shopping or dancing, another love of mine. I'm a pretty busy girl but I wouldn't have it any other way.

News Editor: Joel Cribb
Everything we know originates from words. For Joel Cribb, the lucky word happened to come out as something of a “gug-aaahhg!!!”
Born in Carmichael, California in 1991 at the local hospital, he lived through his child hood as the shy kid who sat in the corner and played with blocks while all the other toddlers played with electrical sockets and ate interesting, exotic insects off the porch.
From the time he turned five, Joel surprised his parents with his complete obsession with words. While his classmates learned to spell the word “see”, he could spell words as long as “neighbor” and “because”. Sure, it could seem fairly trivial that somebody could spell a seven-letter word in kindergarten, yet Joel uses it as an example of the early knowledge of his future as a writer.
Now the News editor of the Vaca High newspaper, Cribb enjoys, “The annoyance of the neighbors at my loud music, long, straight hours of caffeine-fueled writing in my underwear, Slam-Dancing to the Ninth Symphony, and any movie starring (British Actor) Simon Pegg.”
Photo Editor: Taelor Stamm
Taelor S-T-A double M, STAMM
I've been in the newspaper class for two years now, and I trained for my current position as Photo Editor last year. I am pretty obsessive for perfection in the pictures, making sure that the whole body is captured, and that they aren't blurry. I love taking pictures, even though our new Bark camera isn't as great as our old one (that someone selfishly stole last year). But I swear I'm not bitter about that.
Sports Editor: Matt Long
Hello everyone, for those of you who can't read the above name, people call me Matt Long. As in one name, not two. I love almost all sports, but my real passion is hockey. It has the best characteristics of any contact sport I have ever played or watched. It has some of the best physical play, and some of the best technical skill and grace of any sport. I am also co-captain of drumline here at Vaca High and music is one of my favorite subjects.
Digital Media Editor: Holly Lyon
Hi, I'm Holly. I'm pretty much the most random person on The Bark staff and I keep things interesting in the classroom. I like to dance, which is why I'm on the VHS Dance-Drill Team. I also like to draw and sleep and eat. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with, unless you're easily annoyed. I'm usually outspoken and make my opinions known. I love to borrow Jenny's twisty crayon pencils and color pictures. I'm basically one of a kind =) [Maranna loves holly, just saying]
Jenny Beers
Assistant photo editor Jenny is a sophomore and enjoys photography and running track when she is not working hard at school.
